Reflection #4
This picture, I honestly picked because the way it's angled and the way you see the pencil. I decided to make the picture all black and white, then I wanted to make only the eraser its true color, red. I love the way it turned out, and the caption makes the picture actually connect with me. It explains how when I make a mistake, I mostly try to fix it, but sometimes it's better to just let it be. You have to learn to accept the things you can't change, and move on.
Reflection #6
The photo shoot went pretty good, I did have to work with the lights to get them to settle down on the main thing i wanted, which was the jacket. Next time I shoot in the booth I'll most likely prefer taking pictures of an object because they're easier to adjust and get a good shot from them than it is with an actual model. While using PS the hardest tool for me was the Brush tool (B) because trying to get ONLY one part of the whole picture and just that part was sort of complicated. The easiest part would have to be the coloring and shooting of the picture. I do like my work, it might of turned out a little better if I had shot the day we had in class and I wasn't in such a rush the day I edited it. Overall though I do very much enjoy my work.
Reflection #7
I used 5 pictures in total, and all of them were taken outside of class. The hardest part, for me, was probably trying to find a way to put all the faces or parts of faces together in a creative way without it looking like, really weird and creepy. The easiest part was after I figured what I was doing, I could just grab random parts and put them into the picture. This project was really fun, it was really...different than the rest of them. If it weren't for the podcast, I probably would've failed the whole thing because I didn't know how to do it. The podcast wasn't high quality but it definitely worked out for me! I do like my final piece because all of the pictures are people who are close to me and seeing them mashed up together in one funny looking picture was pretty cool.
Reflection #8
Something new I learned was how to cut something and duplicate it, it's easy as it sounds honestly. My favorite part was working with the picture and making it look distinct and different than an ordinary picture. The worst part, Really? I don't think there was a worst part! I liked this assignment, it was fun. The tutorials were definitely very helpful, I guess I learn better with a video that I can replay or back up to a spot I missed without having troubles.
Assignment 9:
1. 10 elements we introduced at the beginning of the year of Composition were, Rule of thirds, Balancing elements, Leading lines, Symmetry and Patterns, Viewpoint, Background, Depth, Framing, Cropping, and Experimentation.
2. Out of all colors, I really connect with the colors Blue, and Red. Blue because, It reminds me of a better time, the color and the way it was makes things look. It just, whenever I wear the color blue or use it in any matter, I fell better or literally am in a better mood. It's a weird feeling, but I like it. I connect to the color red, in a different way, a really personal way. It reminds me of blood. When I'm around the color red, it makes me think of blood and way blood comes out of people. Cuts. It's personal really, I can't explain it. In our culture, I barely realized blue and red are the color of our flag. So I guess that's a way in connects with our culture.
3. In Photoshop, in order to make part of a photo and the rest black and white you need to use the picture into photoshop, you make the Saturation -100 or to the point where it is black and white. You then make a new mask layer, you cut into the mask layer with the Rectangular Marquee Tool everything you want it color. After that you make sure you use the brush tool to color in white so you're decolorizing of black and white everything you want in color.
4. Uploading a photo into your computer is easy as cheese. All you simply have to do is connect your camera with a USB cord and plug it into the computer, or take out the memory card and stick in the card reader. Then the card will appear in your desktop, but before you open that make sure you open up Adobe Bridge and in the tool box on top, click 'Get Photos From Camera' or the icon that's a Camera with an arrow pointing down. After you click that, make sure you have a folder to put all those pictures in and once downloading is complete they should appear in Bridge.

10. Contrast is how the image is placed, if there's a specific object you're referring too but there's something else in the image that distracts the viewer from focusing on THAT object, you have bad contrast, It practically how the image is set up.
11. The maximum size of a photo you can upload into my weebly website is 5 MB.
12. When photographing a persons face, you want to make sure you're focusing on the nose and chin to make sure you get the whole face and its a clear shot.
13. To me, this class is really easy and fun. I actually learned all the lessons in the way they were explained, whether it was a podcast or Ms. G was in front of the class explaining to us what the ideals were. I might have had problems but with Ms. G explaining what or how to do so I would get the hang of it. This class is easy as suppose as what you’re doing in it. If you spend your time on Facebook and never do the work or don’t look at the website this class will be harder than it really is. If you listen to what the instructor is saying, or watching the podcasts or videos that are put up you can learn easily and it’s an easy A. The less you pay attention harder the class will be when it’s actually really simple. In my eyes, my favorite part of this class was being able to experiment with being a photographer and what it really takes to BE one. Being a photographer isn’t just taking a shot of something cool, it’s the way you put that shot in, the angle and the way you take it and giving the image a true meaning to it. The best you can do to improve is trying not to miss so much school days, I need my teacher for support and help! Out of everything in this class, what did I hate? NOTHING. I love taking pictures, I love photographing and that’s what I’m planning on doing. I worked hard to get to know what its like being a photographer, I just, really enjoyed this class. I will mostly remember my website, I know it’s weird but; I really like my website and how I set it up. It really just, explains me, and shows ME.

Reflection # 10
I'm 100% sure I took over ten picture for each thing I had to take a picture of. I took me a while to edit, manipulate and make these pictures reach my satisfaction. I'm not even done with my final products I'm still in need of a couple others photographs. Most of my photos were taken during my own time, I like expanding my work zone and not just sticking to school area, it bores me after a while. If I had to guesstimate the amount of photos I took, in total, it would be a little more than 40 because of how many times I changed the setting, position, or angle of the image. It takes time for me to pick a favorite, so I need to have a wide verity of pictures to look at. When I look at this specific gallery, most of my pictures revolve around something I don't know how to describe. I tend to make them really dark, or some kind of darkness on some part of it. I guess I'm just into darker things, they catch my eye a little more than bright, vibrant colors. The easiest part of this project was, experimenting with these pictures, and finding the true me within them. hardest part is trying to be creative while taking these images too, when you say inside of something. You don't really know what toe expect, what is that something going to be? Who knows.. Only you. I'm totally fine with my works, if I didn't like it i wouldn't of uploaded. Photography. Why I like it? It's the one thing, besides music, where i can actually bring out. Me. The pictures always have a story behind it, whether it's before I took it, why I took it, or somewhere in the future. It just, lets me express who I am while in a single shot, or lets me keep the memories along with it.
Reflection #11
The final project was, interesting. It was beyond different than the rest. This one. We show, emotion not in just the picture, but we how emotion in the way we used the 15 elements. The first emotion, is more like, an uncertain emotion. It show how people can hide behind a fake smile. You can't see it right? Because of all the fun colors hiding the true feeling. The second picture, its happiness. This kid bring happiness to my life, every day. When he smiles, it brights up the day and it show here on the image, how someone might look at it as; colors. The final image, I wanted to express what most people can't. Mixed emotions. You don't know whether she's happy, gloomy, or anything else. She shows a smile, but each side of her face shows a different kind of mood. I choose my final image because, well, i don't really have an explanation. Just that, sometimes, it's hard choosing whether you're happy, upset, angry, or just plain out confused. I learned how to balance a lot of things on the adjustment layers, I like experimenting with them. My favorite adjustment layer would have to be Postersize because it's different than the rest and I like the different effects it has. I absolutely love my final piece. It shows me every day, mixed emotions and confused.
